Been playing around with old cars since the 70's. Mainly Australian and US based cars. I've got a soft spot for pontiacs, first US (well, actually Canadian sourced) car was a 63 Laurentian. One of my favourite US cars was my 54 Chevrolet, converted it to a 283 SBC and TH350 auto.
Spent a couple of years toying around with a 34 Ford hi-boy roadster before selling that and going back to musclecars. Recently, a 1952 pontiac Chieftain dropped into my lap at a good price...the car is real solid and clean, but stipped for paint and trim. I'm looking to customise, but I'm keeping the flathead 6 cylinder and column shift manual box. Its early days yet, hope to get a little advice where its needed as I go.
