Dad always said "If you can't afford a Dodge, dodge a Ford". Funny thing after him having mainly Buicks, we always had Fords when I was younger!
I've been around cars, trucks & bikes most of my life and wasn't allowed to be a mechanic like my dad or his dad so I guess I was always going to be drawn to what I wasn't allowed to have!
I've had my pick up since the mid ninties, which is longer than I care to remember.
It's had it's 50th birthday rebuild, replaced the 312 Y block with a 390 FE and a four speed toploader. Thanks to the help of fellow Vultures.
That Y block will one day make it's new home in my 30 A coupe.
