I liked anything mechanical as a kid. My grandmother would give me stuff like an old alarm clock and I would use a butter knife as a screwdriver to disassemble it and see how it worked. Later on I started trolling alleys for lawn mowers, bicycles etc. I spent all my allowance money on car magazines, model cars,r.c. cars, mini bikes go carts and so on. My heroes were the guys that worked in the service station garages and auto parts stores around my neighborhood and the old dudes in the local Ace hardware that probably wondered what I was doing there. When I turned 16 my dad bought me a $1500.00 66 Chevy II that he wouldn't let me drive all through high school because my grades were never good enough. I finally got it on the road with a 4 speed then an automatic,4 different sets of headers,5 exhausts,4 sets wheels and tires and two motors. I sold it bought it back, sold it again and owned many other cars since then.
