I grew up next to my Grandpa who encouraged my interest in engines when he bought me a 1971 Honda Z50 and he rented a house on the other side of his to a Truck Mechanic who owned a 1967 or '68 Chevy SS Camaro;he was short on rent one time and gave my Grandpa a 1956 Chevy Coupe & a 1959 or 60 El Camino which I was allowed tyo play in,so between them I was exposed to hot rods & wrenching at an early age.
After his death in 1980 My Grandmother told me that my Grandfather wished I to become a race car driver;so My Grandmother & I found a 1955 Coupe at Stick City and began building it...I Was 19; She passed away before she saw it finished.This year i will turn 52 and I still own my '55.
