It all started by having parents that let the boy be a boy. Tonka trucks and the sand box. Then there was the countless hours of laying on my belly in the neighbors yard using popcicle sticks to plow roads for my Hot Wheels in the dirt. I was a Hot Wheels kid and my friend was a Matchbox kid. I don't know why, but thats how it was. The first modification I remember making was on a purple tricycle I had. The guy next door with the 70 SS gave me a pair of Holley stickers that I installed on the rear footboard. He said it would make it faster. From there it went to AFX slot cars, Tyco train sets, and the Revell Model Builders Club. Next came the 72 LeMans sport, 74 Laguna S3, 76 442, 78 Grand Prix, and more wheelin and dealin junkers through the past 23 years.
