I grew up going to the race track with my Dad on the weekends, or hanging out with him and his buddies in the garage. Seems like they were always wrenching on something. I was wild as shit back then and never really thought to jump in and learn something. Hate that fact now but what can you do. From age 15 on I have always kept a classic in the stable and about 8-9 years ago finally decided to learn how to really work on them. Now that I have been bitten by that bug there is no turning back.
