A gearhead since 1974- Dad bought me a "safe car with some metal in it"- a'66 Pontiac and this was followed by '69 Cougar XR7. I started going to the drags with a friend at age 13 and built dozens of scale cars to get my feet wet. The Cougar was really the first true car I did myself- body work, wheels and tires, built Windsor. The '49 was Grandma's ride that's completely restored matching numbers car with 63K original miles. Completely new everything- bodywork, motor, interior, top, hydraulic windows, seat, top. New Coker wide whites. One of only 1300 made and very rare.
