Built 5 window 32 in 61 to drive to school. It kept getting more out of hand as factory 409's and 427's fell into the hands of kids with more $. I just had to make it quicker and unsafe. Ended up with American 12 spokes and Racemasters on deepdish Americans; straight tube front axle; Pont rearend coil sprung and 352 stroked sbc. It was an Altered class so it saw only the street. Sold it when came back from the war and married. Just now starting to forgive myself for that.
Found a fair 36 5 window on net in Canada and now getting blower parts back from being polished. Couldn't afford another Deuce project. I'll probably die first but my goal is to have my hand on as many parts as possible during the project. It's the journey not the destination for me this time.
