moved to u.s. in 83 (military brat) shaved head, art school, punk rock, diy, down with the man, need a car? build it, or at least get an old one a manual and some tools and remain self reliant, no warranties, no bank loans, no shady mechanics blowing wind up yer skirt. same with bikes. from first to last..64 gmc panel van 4 cylinder $400, 65 ford fairlane sports coupe $400, 63 bmw r60/2 (first bike)$2000, 68 triumph tr6c chopper (first complete build and first custom) $700 (too much), 65 corvair monza $800, 51 chevy styleline 2dr sedan $2000 which i still have today..impossible to kill and will own forever and why i am here. i'm a bike guy, my chevy has been in primer since 98 and has broken glass this whole time. i've built close to 100 bikes and scooters (all vintage) while i've had her and she has never let me down so now i need to gleen care and feeding tips from you guys because i love her and i need to give her the attention she deserves. all help appreciated, thanks.
