    1959 Chrysler New Yorker
My step Dad got me into the custom cars when I was about 9 years old. I helped him build a '71 Camaro, and a '41 Willys pickup. When I was 17 I found my New Yorker on abandoned property. I sent a letter to the owner and a week later I got a call about the letter. She said, "I'm not sure if I'm ready to give up the car, it was my son's car. He passed away 25 years ago."So I told her when you're ready to let it go, please give me a call. I'm willing to help clean up the property, for the car. A year later she gave me a call said, "If you want the car you can have it, no work, no nothing." I asked whys that, she told me some kids burnt down the trailer, and I don't want anything to do with the property, I'm done. I told her I'm sorry to hear that, thank you very much and will keep in touch. It has been 2 years, and finally got a good job I can now start to fix it up and get another classic car on the road. Please if you can help send me an e-mail, would love to learn what I can.
