Grew up in & around Ventura, CA. Went to Carp Thunderbowl, Gardena Stadium as a lad. Started building cars with my brother in the 60's when you could still buy a '49 Ford out of a junkyard for fifty bucks. Besides the '49, had a 50 Chevy Sedan Deluxe with a 53 truck 235 six, chrome rims and black over white tuck-n-roll, a '53 Austin sedan that I never got around to making a gasser out of, a '56 210 with a 265 and a Mucie 4-speed, bigs 'n' littles, taxicab yellow, a '56 pickup with a sweet 283, Weiand manifold, Holly 650, headers.
Went the racing route and pitcrewed on open-wheelers for ten years, building, fabricating, wrenching, scrapin mud. Getting back into rodding because I have ideas I want to turn into metal. Moved to Indy (in the shadow of the Speedway) in '09.
