Was raised in montana working on cars since I was old enough to turn a wrench. Have always been around them but this is my first venture into a custom rebuild though so I will be asking lots of questions lol
well working on tearing down the engine that i got. it has a 3.98 stroke and a 4.05 bore looking to be a 410cid even though it wasnt in a 66 or 67. cant find alot of info about the 410 though. working on pulling the crank.
pulled the crank.... only numbers on it were the ones i originally found.. puzzling the hell outa me. the end of the crank doesnt match anything i can find on a 428 crank. rounded instead of square.... did find out that the very first 410's didnt have cross drilled mains though!
so i finally got the ford master parts listing.... my crank and pistons arent listed in it at all. think im going to get the numbers and list them on here.
