Helping my Dad work on his car at about 12 yrs old, working and saving to buy my first car at 14 yrs old, 1955 Chevy 2 door post, three on the tree, 265 engine, then setting up the car to race (with 327 .060 over=336 & 4-speed, 4.56 gear) at Green Valley Raceway, Smithfield, TX at 16 yrs old in 1966, my very first race, won my class. Sold the '55 and bought the GTO. Traded the Goat for the '61 Corvette and the rest is history.Interact
