Spent way too much time hangin' out in neighborhood garages, with all the "big boys" while growing up in Cleveland Ohio. UP north we have all winter to build cars and do plenty of bench racing. Also great custom car show downtown at convention center. I remember first time I saw the Bat Mobile, thought I'd died and gone to heaven. (gimme a break I was only 10yrs old?) Model car building turned into real cars/auto shop, drag racing etc. Went to professional auto/truck mechanics school. Took over failing garage, failed myself, got several regular gigs. Moved to Florida to get into professional motorsports. Great way to hone building skills.
