I enjoyed growing up in 50s and late 60s growing up on a ranch in wyoming with my Dad owning a repair shop, and him enjoyin putting chrysler motors in various vehicles. My brother Larry and I loved playing with the cars and motorcycles, which turned into my passion. A four year stint in the USAF training crews for the B-52 bomber G and H models. Getting out at tail end of Vietnam in 1975 I went to collision school, in Cheyenne Wy. I ran a collision shop J Chisholm Restorations, which turned into J Chisholm Hot Rods and Metal Shaping after about 6 yrs. I was able to learn Metal "Shaping from the Master Scott Knight in Socal, along with great help from Fay Butler in Wheelwright Ma. I enjoyed specializing in the Willys coupe and pick-ups creating sheet metal fenders, hood, qtr panels, etc. I had an opportunity to sell My shop of 28 yrs in Cheyenne, and then taught in Laramie Wy. @ WyoTech in the sheet metal shaping hod rod dept. I left there in Feb 2010 and am currently enjoying putting a new shop together, J Chisholm Hot Rods/Metal Shaping and also Performance Powder Coating, where we have an indoor sand/media blast booth, a paint/powder coating booth, and the largest Performance Powder Coating oven in the area @ 29 ft long. 9ft tall and 8 ft 6 in wide. We also are putting back into service our Moon Louver Punch Press with 23 different sizes of louvers, starting at 2" in 1/8" increments up to 4 1/2" in width, standard Hot Rod Louvers and Custome Louvers with a center peak.
