I have been interested in traditional Hot Rods since I was a kid - not too many others in the family share my passion, except for my youngest kid (who has really got the bug).

I've quietly taken advantage of, and used the HAMB for a number of years (10+) to provide myself answers to questions that crop up. Its a great site with those who have tons of experience - a reliable source of ideas.

Grew up in small towns around Manitoba, and as a youngster lived for a year in Missoula, MT.

Also lived for 2 years in Toronto, ON. Currently working and living in Winnipeg, Canada -> family is now located in a number of cities across Canada. We own a cabin way up the East side of Lake Winnipeg, and in addition to my day job, help run the family farm.

I love old Mercs and Fords (trucks, and model A's in particular) and GM stuff. I'm no specialist. Canadian-built flathead fords are a fascination. Actually, now I think of it, anything from the 30's, 40's and some of the stuff from the 50's is OK by me.

Cars owned and driven - 1970 Olds Delta 88; 1963 Dodge "440"; 1950 Ford F47; 1955 Chevy w/ 283 and a manual 3 speed; a '56 Pontiac sedan with a straight six; my dad owned two different Hudson Hornets along with various Oldsmobiles and Pontiacs.

My main bucket list goal: Build a Model A with a flathead v8
