Began racing with Shaker Engineering in 1963. The 1962 B/S 409 was the first drag car that I worked on, along with Ben Wenzel's D/S 348. It went from there, and the last drag car that I helped build was the 1967 SS/EA Camaro that Ron Kindel and later John Blackstock drove for us. That car was the NHRA E.T. record holder in 1967 and number one qualifier at the World Finals at Tulsa in 1967.
I have the Camaro back now , completely restored to 1967 Super Stock specs, and race it occasionally with Larry Sokol as the Driver, usually at U.S.131 at Martin Mi.
