My Family is from hicksville, N.W. Washington State. Grandpa, R.I.P. 2006, was a mechanic since WW2. I started @ 7-8 years old sitting on the fenderwell of Dads 65 Cuda handing him tools. Age 10, Grandpa taught me the valve grinder. Some H.S. auto shop. Age 19 Built my first motor for my 66 F-250, 390, forged, flat head pistons, .040 over, edlebrock rv cam, holly 650, etc... Stolen soon after. Knew so little, a girlfriend, ( hell of a mechanic), told me why my crank was binding.
Since tore down the inline 6 in my 66 C-20 and "dr'ed her up", still running strong, rebuilt my z24i 88 nissan motor, partial rebuild a 390 for a 66 F-100, 454 for a 70 Cutlass, rebuilt a HP inline 6 for a 65 Mustang. Got on road 2 68 Firebirds, Ran my own shop for 3 years, multiple valve jobs, bring to life's, over1 year college auto shop with 3.7 GPA, Brakes, suspensions, fuels, swaps, upgrades. I am just getting started!
