I grew up around classic cars both from my Grandpa, Dad and uncle. My first vehicle was the mentioned 55 Chevy truck purchased in 1995 locally. When I purchased the truck, it was "barely" sitting on some mid 70's-80's Blazer 4x4 axles and while it looked really cool, my dad and I were convinced that it was thrown together and not all that safe. I was also getting more involved with hot rods and custom cars, so big and bulky quickly turned into low and fast! The 39 Ford was left to me in my Grandfather's Will because I showed so much interest in it as a very young child and spent a lot of time tinkering in the garage with him as he was restoring it. I was able to finish the canvas top and get it running in time to use it on my wedding day to drive me and my wife around town and to the reception. Still needs some touches here and there but mostly original with the 85 horse flathead in it.
