Liked cars since I could hold a hot wheel. My Dad (and an uncle) are big "car" fans. I gravitated toward T-buckets etc. during formative years. Discovered Hot Rod Magazine in 1972 (first grade), subscribed a few years later, got an issue with hot rod shops featured - with one three miles from home (Specialty Cars). I worked there eight years (83-90-ish). Started my first car there..... that our 'Ol Dad later featured (HRM Dec '97). I do most of my own wrenching, but can't tune for beans.
