My first car was a 1953 Chevy(bought in '62 for $300) that I spent every weekend adjusting the lifters, the 58 Ford came next and I removed the grill bar and reversed the rear shackles, everybody thought I customized it. Ha, ha! Then the Pontiac, the Rambler, Torino, and then marriage and serious work and two kids. Now I'm starting over on the hot rods. '29 roadster on deuce rails with '51 8BA with a Merc crank, S10 5 Speed tranny, Winters Quick change, Lincoln brakes, chopped windshield with 31,32 stanchions ,31 Auburn dash, wings gauges, leather . '30 Ford PU with built 283 and T350 and a banjo rear. I just got a 51 Merc last week that ready for a redo and my parts hauler is a '67 chevy fleetside. 35 Ford original pickup, putting new bed on it and will run it stock except for juice brakes and lowering it. well damn, I sold the 35 and now working a 1941 ford pickup.
