1950 Ford F1 Pickup, Original 8BA block with sorta-hot rebuild.
Stock body and bed with scrappy repaint (Toreador Red with a double helping of pearl dust), 3 inch de-arch in back, 4 inch in front, controls are Fender guitar & Ludwig drum parts
    Early Ford V8, H.A.M.B. Alliance
An obsession with old hot cars came from working with old hot guitars and amps. Learning auto mechanics, very slowly...Trying to learn whatever is needed to have fun with my old pickup truck, and thinking hard about finding an early 50's Chrysler Sedan.
When getting treated for cancer in summer '07, my radiation tech (Joseph from PA) hooked me up with links to H.A.M.B...
I survived (?) cancer in July 2007, only to find My Wife had it bad in September '07. I was widowed in September 2008.
Totally involved myself in rebuilding 1950 Ford F1 to keep from going nuts. I've learned a lot, but there's always still a lot to learn. What you don't know actually can hurt you...real bad!

I took the spring out of my speedometer, now the needle spins out of control...just like my life!
