As a young kid my Dad would buld me model cars I will always remember the Ala Kart, Chicago had some cool shops in the neighborhood and I remember riding my Stingray to alot of them and watched from the door ways...Me and my budy use to play with an old dragster frame we found outside a shop by the tracks...Slot Cars, Marchbox cars, and Hot Wheels is what we played with when it got cold. We made a major move to Arizona when I was in 6th grade, we rode the heck out of our bikes. WhenI got old enough for a car I bought a 1936 Ford Pickup and had it running by the end of the day...I met a neigbor his handle name is flathead.1320 and he is the best dam fabricator on the planet! Hung out in his garage and watched, learned and enjoyed Hot Rods. He helped me get the 1929 Coupe after my Truck got rear ended. I have always wanted to get the coupe on the road but marrage, kids and family have always been a priority in my life. I have thought when I retire I will get to it...but these economical times have kept me from it. Still working on getting the Kids through College and self suficiant etc... My dream hotrod has changed a couple times would really like a traditional 29 roadster on 32 rails, Also love to have a slammed 39 Ford Coupe...and of course would love a 36 Ford Pickup again...Keeping my faith.
