I'm 63 and have been fooling with cars and other mechanical devices since I was about 12. During college and my early career, finances, house building, and child rearing caused a shift in focus to model airplanes and finally to antique tractors. This was a concession to my farm backgroung and the absence of title, upholstery, sheet metal, and wiring complications with tractors. However, a few years back, I began to spend my spare time with guys who had street rods and I decided I wanted to do something with the parts I had drug home for years, particularly my '27 model T 2 door sedan. So, I have started cleaningout my shop wiht the intention of building my first ground-up hot rod.
