I got into customs in a roundabout way. I started restoring mostly old jeeps and trucks when I was in high school and beyond. I am an upright bass player and always steered toward rockabilly and honky tonk music. Once I moved to Texas, the music and car passion kind of merged and kicked my car interest back a few decades. The '57 Ford Custom I've had for the last 22 years was a family project with my kids and a serious learning experience for me. I can think of nothing better than playing some old school punk on a little radio in the garage while getting dirty and trying to break loose 60 year old bolts on the o'l car!
