I grew up in Bowling Green, KY, near Beech Bend Raceway. That area is big for car enthusiasts. My Dad is a heavy equipment mechanic who also like cars. He had a lowered 46 Merc among other cars. I can remember riding in his 55 Chevy with the Corvette motor, when I was small enough to sleep in the rear seat footwell. I guess it ruined me.Interact
