About
Some people are born into the hot rod and custom world and the others are drawn into it. Well in my case I was drawn into it. I was always a mechanical kid growing up, tearing apart lawnmowers and just about anything I could get my hands on. When I was 16 my grandfather gave me his 1950 Chevrolet Fleetline 2dr. with only 21,182 original miles. I didnt dare touch the car becaus I had no direction of how I wanted the car to go.
A couple years later, 1998, I joined the Air Force to travel and for education. I was stationed in good ole Utah as an avionics technician on the F16, I still got to travel a ton though. I seperated off of active duty in 2004 to take a civil service job and bought a house a few years later. I'm still reserves as I only have 7 years to go before retiring.
Well I finally have a direction I want to go with the car and it should be something, I finally started the project this year, its a slow start but slow and steady is the best in my opinion as I want it to be done right. I dont have a 'specific' speciality but I'm pretty damn good at wiring, since the military paid for the training, and I'm no stranger to a welder, torch or a cutoff wheel.Interact
