Doublepumper

I got interested in messing around with old heaps at sixteen. Started when my uncle helped me fix the pooped out 216 in my '50 Chevy pickup. I was hooked!
Like many at that young age, I didn't have much money. I worked after school and weekends, at a small machine shop, making two whole dollars an hour. Needless to say, I tried to do everything myself and make due with what was available.
Traditional, I think it's called now
Managed to cobble together plenty of projects over the years. Cars, trucks and motorcycles. Current project is a stockish '46 Ford pickup. I've rebuilt or renewed nearly everything on it, then installed a healthy 350 SBC, a T-400 and 3.73 Trac-Loc 8.8. Disc brakes all around. Got it on the road the end of summer, 2020. Slowly prepping for paint.
Why slowly?
Because I'm RETIRED, man!
