I'm a roots/rockabilly DJ from the Metro Detroit, MI area. Always have been a fan of the customs and hot rods, but didn't really get into it until I was an adult. I owned a '58 Bel Air for about 5 years, but ended up selling it as I didn't have the space to store or maintain well. As my DJ career has grown, I've had the opportunity to attend and spin music at many hot rod car shows, including the Indy Road Rockets Rumble and the Shifters VLV hot rod & custom car shows. Got to meet Ed Roth at one of his last Detroit Autorama's and have been a huge admirer/devotee of other "hot rod" artists like Robert Williams, Keith Weesner, Glen Barr, etc. I dream of owning a few vintage custom cars in the near future and raising my young son, Caleb Michael, to know, appreciate and love the rich automotive history of the state of Michigan. Since my father and grandfather both worked for GM their entire adult careers, I have a soft spot for old Chevrolets and all cars/trucks 'GM'! I've written music reviews for Car Kulture DeLuxe and hope to do some more articles for them in the future. I program and run my own online rockabilly radio station called "MOTORBILLY" (heard on Live365.com) and it's become very popular -please check it out! Always happy to learn more about automotive culture and be involved in the worldwide "kustom kulture" scene!Interact
