I was born in 1952 and do not remember when I was not interested in cars. My dad did maintenance and repairs on our cars and was pretty much a car nut. He always had me with him and the first time I saw an engine running with the rocker arm coverremoved I was really hooked. Read car magazines from the late 50's and early 60's. Wanted a '37 Chevy coupe, setteled for a pickup but by then the '67 Camaro came out and the "old cars" seemed a lot less interesting. Have had a bunch of Chevelles, Camaros, Corvettes and others but the "old car" bug returned some years ago. Raising a family put cars in the back seat but now I am in the working on several projects. Had an auto repair shop in the mid 70's and drove sprint cars. I eventually found working in a chemical plant was easier and more profitable.
