Always liked old cars. My Grandad owned a garage and my uncle was a mechanic. I have restored some cars when I lived in NZ. Previous cars: 1954 Ford Fordson Pickup, 1970 Mk1 Escort Twincam, 1972 Ford Capri 3L V6, 1974 Ford Escort Mk1 1300 GT (x2) - yes you might say I was a British Ford guy, but I really have no preference and love all old cars. Its just what seemed to pop up when I had some funds burning a hole in my pocket (and remember petrol prices in NZ were not as favorable as gas prices are in the USA!). I have a 1947 Chev Sedan Delivery that I built and have a 1965 Dart GT Convertible.

Sep 2012 bought an original 1949 Chevy Coupe Deluxe that was last on the road in 1974. Its a really solid, unmolested car. Fast forward to Sep 2017 and I have just finished installing a 261 in it. It now has a truckstell overdrive (closed driveshaft), 261 with edumunds 2x1 and Zenith carbs.

2018 picked up a complete running and driving original unrestored 1934 Ford Chassis... future project !
