My step-dad had a service station. He got involved with circle track racing in 1946. @ 1951, my folks bought a cafe in Argenta. Mom ran the cafe. We also had a magazine rack with most of the current mag's of that era, including Hot Rod. Later, Honk ,etc were on the rack for sale. I read all the car magazines and most of the other magazines, too. Wish that I had kept all of the car mags! Cars were part of my every day life. I could ramble on about my involvement with things with 4 wheels. We've had our Pontiac on the road since late 1978. We had a his, hers, and our family. A 4 door Street Rod provided the most room for our family. Kids have grown up, married, and blessed us with 10 grandkids and 1 great-grand son. Therefore,I'm slowly working on our next Rod, a 1934 4 door Pontiac. We will have room for grandkids, as well as all those goodies my wife manages to buy as we go to various car happenings.Interact
