I've been a car guy since childhood. My first car was a '55 2 door Bel-air. I've owned many cars, several would qualify as Hot Rods. I've been in the auto body business for just over 20 years, handling every job in a shop, lowest to highest. I've spent time working for a professional Rod Shop, and ran my own on the side for years. As soon as my Bug is done, I plan to roll in the '41 Ford Pickup. It's in pieces now, but I hope to put it together and try to get as near 5G for it as I can.
I finally got the time, money, and place to build what ever I want. now I just need a few more toys, like a plasma cutter, tig welder, and a complete spray booth. All in time.
since I was a kid I've built models, and drawn cartoons of Rods & Customs, and have never stopped. Now at 51 Y/O I've gotten near professional at both.
For entertainment, give me a good swap meet over a good car show any time.
