Crispyfried

My name is Jake and I was encouraged by a real good friend of mine to join you guys. I don't have a whole lot to bring to the table at this time but very optimistic that I will in the future. I very recently owned a 1974 Chevy 3/4 ton 4wd pickup that I had frame off rebuilt by myself, and it was still teaching me the whole time I had it. Needless to say it was very special to me and had character that could never be duplicated. I had created the truck to be a solid practical every day driver, never in the winter though. I knew every bolt and bushing in that truck. Unfornatley it caught on fire wich was no fault of its own, it was a work related accident. Anyhow I plan on getting an older truck to be used in a practical but fun way. I love old trucks cars and anything old that has mechanical character, I especially love anything that is "old farm" or just plain has character that cannot be over looked, and from what I'm told this is the place were good people feel the same and encourage others to keep loving simple beauty. So that's why I'm here. Thanks for listening and I'm looking forward to being edcutated by all that use this sight!!
