I joined USAF as a young person ...trying to organize myself,maybe learn something along the way.Met some of the most memorable people,became aware of the teamwork philosophy,saw alot of new and exciting things and places... and sitting in the pilots seat,parking brakes set,hands on the throttles,with 4 engines at 90% power....the vibrations,the smell of jet exhaust,the needles in the gauges,the crackle of the groundcrew voices on the radio,the craft heaving,straining as if it were a beast chained...like King Kong on stage...this is pretty cool....how did I get here?why am I doing this?

I,m not sure the world really wants to know,its just the way it is.It,s what keeps that Headshrinkers office full alday...
But if you just have to know...........

wandering thru the woods as a small child,stumbled upon a dark graveyard of old 30,s 50,s cars.mercury,s,ford,s,chevy,s,bullet-hole,s,head-lamps dangling from fenders,broken windshields,doors half-open...itwas kinda spooky,yet strangely exciting.That slight buzz in my head{later to be self-diagnoised as an early"geargrind"..}started me on a whole new journey,those 1st visions became sleeker,shinier.lower,noisier.The buzz evolved into a variable high-pitched air-shifted constantly meshed whine.Early funny-cars,jet-aircraft,speedboats,open-headers,smoke,screams,wheelstands,flames,von-dutch,rat-fink,fat-smokin tires,blowers,fuel-vapors,thunder...this all had to be organized somehow in my young mind..but I was too busy...I,ll just dump it all in that"BIG BRIGHT FLASH" in my mind[this satalite or"Halo"as I perfer to call it provided balance,later recognized as conciousness ]Add time,mathmatics,physics..equations=torque,horsepower..slather with some hot-guitar licks,pretty-women..always dipping into that "BRIGHT-SPOT"for ideas ..the possabilities become endless..[much to my parents dismay]...VOILA!!!!...DANG!!!... LIFE IS GOOD!!!!
Can,t explain it much more than that..nor do I care to try
