    1955 Chevrolet 150 four door sedan. 283, four-speed.
Thanks to a healthy dose of hot rods from my Father and Uncles while growing up, i managed to stay away from the Fox Mustangs, Third Gen. F-bodys, and wrong-wheel drive rice rockets that are popular among people my age. From age 7 to 13 or so I would go with my Dad to the local drags to watch him race his '57 beliar. While he took a hiatus from racing to get his pilot's license I was busy dreaming of my own Tri-five Chevy i would someday own. Further influence came from my Uncle who during those years restored a 55' Chevy 210, a '59 Belair, a '60 Impala, and a '55 Cameo Pickup. On Friday, August 2, 2002, I became the proud owner of my car, a 1955 Chevrolet 150 four door sedan. It came with a 235 straight-six and a three-on-the-tree. I drove it for about a year while saving and (with help from Dad) building my current motor, which is a rebuilt 283. I also swapped in a Muncie four-speed, and a 4.56 gear.
