I've been into cars since I was old enough to say Chevrolet. My dad grew up in the late fifties and early sixties and was heavily involved in street racing and organized drag racing. In 1964 my dad bought a new '64 Biscayne for the sole purpose of taking the 0 miles 6 cylinder out and installing a 409, 4-speed from a friends totaled 63 impala. Armed with six cylinder badges and dog dish hubcaps he hit the streets and ended up making quite a name for himself in the Indianapolis are in the mid to late sixties. He raised me as any self respecting father would teaching me the ins and outs of what it takes to make a car go fast. In 1980 he was killed in an accident at his work, and from that moment on it was my purpose in life to recreate the car that he loved so much.
