I got interested in Hot rods, Muscle cars in the '60's but building model cars(still do). There was a family from Mass. that vacationed near my home and they would bring models to me. their son built a Coupe and drove it up here in the mid '60's. I had 3 older brothers and was always interested in their cars.My first car was a '66 Mustang Conv., I've also owned '67,69,71 Cougars, '64 Galaxie and a '69 Buick Electra.
sorry I haven't owned any real Hot Rods but I feel it in my blood. I love anything pre '72, esp drag cars.
