Built show and race cars most of my younger life. Now, I build guitars and do restorations. I only became "semi-famous". I did, however manage lots of short track victories, several championships and some top fuel titles. I also drove some of the "Show Cars" that some of the "Smart Fellers" said didn't run! Well . . . It was my specialty to make 'em run. Like the BootHill Express at BeeLine Dragway in Scottsdale. Then on the main street of Mesa Arizona, and other places. Some will tell you it didn't happen. I was there, I put the throttle down, and plenty of people snapped the still-existing photos. Some nay-sayers either have bad memories or they are just jealous . . . I don't know. I lived it and the proof is always available!
