I became interested in hot rods at age 11 when I saw a Rodding and Restyling mag with Andy Kassa's Ruby Rod on the cover .In later years I helped restore this car for Andy (1995-6) and towed the car to the Pebble Beach Calif.car show in 2001. I have owned many hot rods and muscle cars over the years and drag raced off and on from age 17 to present ( age 60 ). My '37 coupe ,which I have owned for 28 years , has been down the 1320 two hundred and fifty times ( legally ) during my ownership. It was a gasser in the 60s,so I'm sure it had lots of previous sideways experience prior to my acquisition. I owned numerous early 60s big block Fords and raced in S/S and lower classes. I recently completed a '56 Ford Customline with a 410 Merc engine ,4 speed ,9'' and disc brakes. My older son has a Model A coupe ( hotrod) and a '56 Chevy ( used to be mine ) with a big block and a 4 speed. My interest today is as strong or stronger than it has ever been. Thanks , Bob
