Saw first drag race in '63. After the Navy, I helped crew a AA/GD digger and got to drive it some. We raced the first race at Sears Point (now Infineon) in 1970. Built an A/MP then B/G '55 Chevy in early '70s, raced it for six years in
NorCal. Have had thirteen '55,'56, '57 Chevys, three with big blocks, one drag car. What's sad, I have not a one of them to show for it now. What an idiot! All the great pictures here make me wish I had been more active and more adept with my lousy 110 Kodak. What a thread!
