teenager late 50's in Pasadena, California and joined a car club we ran a "B" fuel rear engine flathead 34 ford coupe. Chopped and channeled with a fibreglass pointed noise. We ran at Lyons, Pomona, Colton, and San Gaberial

Also had friends that ran a "C" chevy 6 - 261 truck engine in a 37 coupe with a La Salle trans and Pontiac rear end. This car was used on the street but ran well. As I remember the best time it ran was 13.9 in the high 90's. Bruce was the original car designer and ran a roadster with another guy - 235 12 port wayne head and I don't remember how fast it was but had a very destintive noise racing. Great fun
