Papaw and Hot Rod Magazine taught me to read, then when I got older I couldn't afford to pay anyone else to work on my car, but that didn't matter because I knew enough to figure it out for myself. I turned that into several garage jobs, learning to run an alignment rack in the process, but I eventually earned the first of my college degrees and quit working so hard.
