Is 10 gauge steel to thick use for the floor?
So far I put a straight axle under the original frame and currently building the roll cage for the car.
Well I ended up with a using the I6 rather than the 350. I currently in the process of redoing the floor and fixing the body mounts.
Ok what would you recommend for the front end then
Well I'm sticking with the 350 sbc and changing the front suspension. The next thing I thinking about what rear end I should use. I was thinking...
I'm having a friend who has done this to his 52 dodge Cornet and others do it.
Well I just picked up a 350 sbc and a front suspension off a mid 90s pickup so I'm going to cut the and weld in the the pickup suspension
Ok
How old were you when you built your first car? I bet you didn't know everything at that time either. So instead of telling me what I should do...
I'm thinking about cutting the front end off and so I don't have to build mounts for the engine
What would be the best front end to go with
I have a small pressure washer but it was having problems taking the dirt off so I paid $40 and had my brother cleaning company come over and use...
The frame was covered in red dirt and it looked like rust to me and 4 other people so I paid a cleaning company to come clean the frame
So the frame is fine after a really powerful pressure washer and the frame is fine
So I'm keeping it and going to build it
