My dad has always been an engine guy. When his two girls came along we were drug out to the shop whenever he went, after awhile we stopped fighting and started learning. Dad bought my first car when I was 14. It was a 1972 Plymouth Duster that we towed out of a pasture. I started work on it. Nothing got done to the car unless it was by my hands and adult supervision. He taught me how to rebuild and maintaine the /6 engine, my uncle taught me how to stripe the paint, repair the damage, and repaint, and my mom taught me how to redue the interior. I drove it throught HS and college. It was a blast to pull up to a car show and write daily driver on it and work done by me. I had more respect and friends in their 50s and 60s than any other age group. Awesome Memories.
