I started reading hot rod mags at about age 12 and was hooked. I started a Motor mechanic apprenticeship and met up with a guy who was into tri 5 Chevys. he introduced me to other like minded folks and I built my first car ('55 Chevy, 350/toploader/tank 9") when I was 18. My first atempt at a hot rod was a 1938 Ford coupe at age 20 (never finished it, however I still wish to build one) I built and finished my second hot rod at age 27 (1934 Chevy coupe, blowen 354 Chrysler). Since then I have built and bought a number of cars.
Bought a 1937 Ford sedan delivery
Bought a Holden 350 HT Monaro
    Rebuilt a "64 Chevy 4 door
    Built a 1948 Chevy P/up
Built 3 Model A roadsters with 2ltr ford engines
    Bought '64 Impala
    Bought '70 1/2 Camaro
Built a 1931 Ford Roadster ( 392, 671, 2 port Hilborn injection running alcohol) and drove it on the street.
    Built a 1934 Ford P/up on an "A" chassis (supercharged 350)
Built '34 Ford coupe witch I still own. It runs an I beam axle, 450hp 350, Muncie 4 speed & Mustang diff.
My '28 pickup is almost finished. It runs an alum. I beam axle,'32 rails, 6x2's on a 350, Muncie 4 speed & quickchange.
My '28 Tourer is next on the list. It is paneled and painted has a 350/t400/9" but still needs wires and upolstery.
My 17 year old son (Adam)has just completed his first hot rod. It's a T Bucket with a 235 Chevy 6 / Saginaw 4 speed. 39 radius rods, suicide '34 axle, layback winsheild etc.
    I am 50 now and love'n hotrod'n
