A good portion of my early car knowledge came from model cars. My dad would go to model swap meets often and I would tag along. He also took me to quite a few stock car races in my younger days. I can remember coming home from the nearby short track (Illianna Speedway) and stopping at the local cruise in spot (Blue Top) to check out the hotrods on a Sat. night. Even though we never had any type of hot rod back then, dad still layed the foundation. Thanks pop.
