Finally starting to restomod my 1953 Dodge Pilothouse pickup. I've been dragging this thing around since 1972 when I bought it in high school from a junkyard-saved it from the crusher!. Since then, the same ol story, a career, family, divorce and other things took over and never got to the restore part of it. Then had serious medical issues and almost lost my left leg in 2004 so had to stop my truck driving career and sit at desk and deal with it. I was retired by my company with a plant closing in 2015 so here I am with time. Can't use the ol clutch leg so decided to switch everything over to a Dakota swap with a Baby Hemi 241 and auto trans 727(?) so I can drive this thing again-FINALLY!. Started last year and hope to finish some time in 2022 with luck and some $$. Been a dream of mine for a long time!! Can't wait to drive ol Buck the Truck again!
