72 years YOUNG, been hot rodder since l972, got interested in cars early - dad ran used car lot, junk yard, and wrecker service '48 thru '70. Raced karts 1960-1963. Interested in all things cars...dirt racers, ratrods, vintage indy cars, and of course hot rods of all types. Got seriously interested in hot rods while living in Nashville, Tn '70-'75. Personal friends with the late "Stroker" Tom Medley, the late Norm Grabowski, and your own "Flattopbob" Owens. Went to Lonestar Roundup in '05, '11, '12 '13 and '14 Loved it - especially their love of traditional hot rods. This forum is great. Look forward to gettin into it.............

Since 2008, I have driven my friend Bill Akin's vintage Indy roadsters many laps at Indy and the Milwaukee Mile...WOW what a thrill....several pics are in my album of these cars.
