First noise I made, by all accounts was "vroom vroom". It all went downhill from then. I've always liked cars, mostly because it's what my father would spend his time fixing at the weekends (either fix it or you walk or ride bicycle to work Monday morning).
Grew up thinking all cars should smell of dusty carpet, EP90 and oil burning past the rings. Learned how to fix the basics and had fun doing it.
Moved on in life a little, moved from England to the USA in 2007 and have been accumulating old junk since, much to the chagrin of my wife.
